1. Acceptance of These Terms

By booking an appointment, registering as a patient, using our website, or receiving services at Fémina Clinic ("the Clinic", "we", "us"), you ("the Patient") agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms are in addition to any procedure-specific consent forms you sign.

2. Our Services

Fémina Clinic provides specialized care in women's reproductive health, including gynecology, obstetrics and pregnancy care, fertility services, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, imaging and diagnostics, and related services. The services available may change, and some may be provided in partner facilities. Our website and materials give general information and are not a substitute for a medical consultation.

3. Appointments, Cancellations and Late Arrivals

  • Appointments can be booked by phone, online, or in person, and are confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us.
  • Please arrive [15] minutes early for your first visit to complete registration.
  • To cancel or reschedule, please give at least [24/48] hours' notice.
  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee of [AED XXX / X% of the service fee].
  • If you arrive more than [15] minutes late, we may need to reschedule so other patients are not delayed.
  • Surgical procedures and packages may have separate cancellation terms, which we will give you in writing.
  • We may occasionally need to reschedule due to emergencies or clinical needs, and will notify you as early as possible.

4. Fees, Payment and Insurance

  • Fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are subject to VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless agreed otherwise. Deposits may be required for procedures, packages, and fertility treatments.
  • We will give you a written estimate for surgery and packaged treatments. Final charges may vary if additional services become medically necessary, and we will explain this to you where possible.
  • Insurance: Insurance coverage is between you and your insurer. We will help submit claims where we are in-network, but approval is not guaranteed. You are responsible for any co-payment, deductible, or service not covered by your policy.
  • Refunds: Refunds, where applicable, are handled under our refund policy: [describe policy, e.g., unused prepaid packages refundable minus services used]. Services already provided are not refundable.

5. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide a valid ID (Emirates ID or passport) and accurate, complete medical information, including medications, allergies, pregnancy status, and prior treatments;
  • follow the care instructions and attend recommended follow-up visits and tests;
  • inform us promptly of any change in your health or your decision to stop treatment; and
  • treat our staff and other patients with respect. We may decline to continue care in cases of abusive or threatening behavior.

6. Consent to Treatment

  • We will explain your diagnosis, treatment options, risks, benefits, and alternatives in clear language so you can make an informed decision.
  • Written consent is required for surgery, procedures, and certain treatments. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time, and we will explain the medical implications.
  • Minors: Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must give consent for treatment.
  • No guarantee of results: Medicine is not an exact science. We provide care with skill and diligence, but we cannot guarantee any particular outcome, including pregnancy or live birth.
  • All services are provided in accordance with UAE law and DHA regulations. We may decline to provide a service that is not permitted by law or that we consider clinically inappropriate.
  • Chaperone: You may request a chaperone for any examination or procedure at no charge.

7. Privacy, Confidentiality and Medical Records

  • Your health information is confidential. We collect, use, and store it only to provide care, manage your account, and meet legal requirements, in line with applicable UAE and Dubai health data and privacy laws.
  • We may share your information only with: (a) healthcare professionals involved in your care, (b) your insurer or payer for claims, (c) regulators or authorities where required by law, and (d) others with your written consent.
  • Your records are kept for the period required by UAE law. You may request access to your records or a copy, subject to legal requirements and any administrative fee of [AED XXX].
  • Please read our separate Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

8. Teleconsultations

Where we offer video or phone consultations, they have limits: some conditions require an in-person examination. The doctor may decide a remote consultation is not suitable and ask you to attend the Clinic. You are responsible for a private space and a stable connection. Consultations are not recorded without your consent.

9. Emergencies

The Clinic is not an emergency service. In an emergency, such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or pregnancy complications, call 998 (Dubai Ambulance) or go to the nearest emergency department. [Add clinic's after-hours contact or protocol, if any.]

10. Test Results and Follow-up

We will tell you how and when to expect your results. Please contact us if you have not received results within the expected time. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date so we can reach you.

11. Photography and Recording

Photography, audio, and video recording inside the Clinic are not permitted without permission from us and the individuals involved. Clinical images may be taken for your medical record only with your consent. Any use of images or testimonials for education or marketing requires your separate written consent.

12. Website and Digital Content

Content on our website, including text, images, logos, and the Fémina Clinic name and tagline, is owned by or licensed to the Clinic and may not be copied or reused without written permission. Health information on our website is general and educational and does not replace professional medical advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, the Clinic is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Patient or failure to follow medical advice. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UAE law, including liability for medical negligence as defined by law.

14. Feedback and Complaints

We welcome your feedback. To raise a concern, contact us at [email / phone] and we will respond within [X working days]. You also have the right to contact the Dubai Health Authority if you feel your concern has not been resolved.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on our website with its effective date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless a different mechanism is required by law.
